- Chattanooga improved to 3-3 on the season after the 69-66 win over Murray State… first Division I of the season and first for head coach Dan Earl as the UTC bench boss… Murray State fell to 3-3.
 
- The Mocs are now 3-1 all-time against the Racers at home… first win over Murray State at home and in the series since December 29, 2007... UTC led for just 8:57 opposed to Murray State commanding the lead for nearly 27 minutes (26:43).

- All-time record 1,389-1,118… 843-549 in Division I era (since 1977-78)… 470-139 record inside McKenzie Arena.
 
- Chattanooga is 25-7 in its last 32 non-conference games… 17-2 in the last 19 non-conference home games.

- Jamal Johnson connected on three-straight threes after starting the game 0-for-6… finished with 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds.

- Demetrius Davis added 10 points and four rebounds… finished a team-best +15 in the +/- category.

- Jamaal Walker knocked down two huge threes late in the second half… finished a perfect 2-of-2 from the floor and from deep in the game… added three rebounds in a season-high 24 minutes of action.
