Opening statement after 97-47 victory over Johnson University.
"I thought it was a good game in the fact that we took care of business. I thought we shared the ball really well. Having seven guys in double figures is always a good thing. Sometimes when you get a big lead it's easy to try and look for yours. I thought, for the most part, played the game the right way."
 
Overall thoughts.
"I didn't think we were as sharp as we needed to be on both sides of the ball. Some of that is that we didn't make as many shots, but we just weren't as crisp or sharp as we wanted to be. I thought we tried to play a solid style. There's some things to work on."
 
On missing a few bunnies.
"We missed a couple dunks, a couple layups, obviously that's not a great thing. It's tough when you average around eight minutes a game and then play 20 or so, it's tough. It's something we'll address."
 
On the team reaching potential.
"I think we're close, but we have a lot. We have played some really good halves, but we haven't strung together a full game yet. We'll work on, offensively, how to share the ball and break the press. It takes time. I see improvement which is good, but it just takes time."
