Opening thoughts after 80-51 won over Mercer.
"Coming off a really tough game at The Citadel, I thought we played the right way. We had a spirited practice that was tough and aggressive, and we also spent some time talking as a team. We're all in this together. The guys know that. We have a good group of guys and we're ready to take those next steps."
 
On trying to correct things.
"I was open and transparent to them, we're trying to figure this thing out. We don't have all the answers, we'll look at everything and we'll try to coach the right way and get better as a staff, but likewise, as players, when your number is called you have to be ready to perform. You have to stay ready and I think our guys did a great job of that today."
 
On moving forward.
"What you try to do, I said this to the team, hopefully we're smiling and laughing on the bus ride home, but you can't get too up or too down. You can't be sulking around after last game and then be on top of the world after this game. You have to have some steadiness to you and get better all the time. I'm proud of the guy's response and it's a good end to the year."
