Brentwood, Tenn.– After going 3-0 at the No. 1 spot last weekend, freshman Neva Clark and senior Baylee Young were tabbed the Ohio Valley Conference Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week. The league office selects the award which was announced Tuesday morning.
 
The duo began the weekend with a sweep (21-18, 21-13) over Tusculum's top pair to help UTC capture its first win of the season. Clark and Young wrapped up opening weekend with two three-set come-from-behind wins against Eastern Kentucky and Carson Newman. The pair won the Mocs' third and clinching point in both of those matches.

"I am proud of the way that Baylee and Neva competed this weekend, along with all of our pairs," said Head Coach Darin Van Horn. "We are excited to watch their partnership evolve throughout the season!"
 
This is the second weekly honor of Young's career after winning the award last season.
 
Clark, Young and the Mocs return to the sand this weekend with two matches at North Alabama in Florence, Ala. on Saturday, March 5.
