CHATTANOOGA – The Chattanooga Mocs' softball team is back home on Tuesday, March 15 to host the Georgia State Panthers at Frost Stadium at 1 and 3 p.m. Both games will air on ESPN+.
The Mocs were originally scheduled to host Western Kentucky in a doubleheader on Wednesday. That has been canceled due to rain.
DOLLAR TUESDAY
All UTC faculty and staff members can purchase tickets for $1. Additionally, fans can purchase hot dogs for $1 at the stadium.

RECAPPING LAST WEEK
Chattanooga went 2-2 at the MTSU Invitational last week and currently sits at one game under .500 (11-12). Emily Coltharp hit .583 with seven hits in 12 at bats with a walk and reached on an error. She hit two doubles against Illinois State, marking the first time in her career that she had a pair of doubles in a game.
Brooke Parrott tossed two complete games with a pair of victories. She allowed two earned runs in 14 innings of work.
PARROTT NAMED SOCON PITCHER OF THE MONTH
Parrott was named the Southern Conference Pitcher of the Month after a dominant opening first few weeks of the season. She made six starts and five relief appearances. Her February numbers:
- 5-1, 2 SV, 4 CG, 0.70 ERA, 4 ER, 40 IP, 28 K
A LOOK AT GEORGIA STATE
Georgia State is 8-14 overall and just began Sun Belt Conference play last weekend, going 1-2 against No. 22 Louisiana. They are 1-4 in their last five games, all against ranked teams. The only common opponent between the two teams is Auburn. The Panthers faced the Tigers the week before Chattanooga and lost 9-1 in six innings.
SERIES HISTORY
Chattanooga and Georgia State have split the 32 games at 16 wins apiece. Georgia State has won the last eight contests dating back to 2011.
