The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga wrestling team wrapped up its competition at the NCAA Wrestling Championships today.  Senior Fabian Gutierrez dropped his consolation match to Oklahoma's Joey Prata in the early session.

Gutierrez was seeded 20^th at 125 pounds and scored a big upset on Day 1 over Iowa's 13^th-seed Drake Ayala.  After losing in the round of 16, he faced the 19^th-seeded Prata today. 

A scoreless first period moved to Prata's favor in the second following an escape and a takedown.  Gutierrez closed the gap with a takedown in the third, but Prata had a reversal to secure a 5-2 win. 

The Mocs end their season with the conclusion of today's action.  UTC finished 9-10 overall and in third place in the SoCon race with a 6-2 league tally.  UTC had shutouts in three of its last four duals and won four in a row overall.  That run to end the season included a 21-15 victory at Indiana.
