War Eagle Heat Sheets War Eagle Final Schedule

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga track and field team switched directions this weekend when Georgia Tech cancelled its meet. The Mocs will now head to Auburn for the War Eagle Invitational to be run Friday afternoon and all day Saturday.

"We are looking forward to a great meet this weekend in Auburn," Mocs head coach Andy Meyer said. "This has been traditionally one of the kids' favorite meets. Auburn has great competition and a great setting."

The meet begins Friday afternoon with the field events followed by the invitational running races and the 3000 meter Steeplechase.

Kimbra Dunning will get things started for the Mocs with the long jump at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time. She will also run the 100 meter Saturday afternoon with Imani Bryant, Sage Davis and McKenzie Williamson. Bryant, along with Reagan Ruth, will be in the 200 meter dash.

Carley Burt and Rebekah Pass will be in the 400 meter Dash while Sydney Cansler will run the 800 meter race.

Justine Glass is slated to run the first heat of the 1500 meter run with Ashtyn Hagood in the second and Allie Potter and Camden Morris in the fourth heat.

Hagood will line up for the 5000 meter run with Lesley Green, Camden Morris and Emma Russum. Faith Brown and Morgan Ouellette will compete in the 3000 meter Steeplechase.

Gracie Morse will line up for both the 100 meter and 400 meter hurdles. Dunning, Bryant, Davis and Williamson will run the 4x100 meter relay.

Jonathan Boyd, Eric Mitchell, Kaigen Mulkey, Eammon O'Bryant, Ryan Phillips and Jasper Wilson are all entered in the men's 5000 meter run in their final event of 2022.

"This is our last tune-up before the conference meet so many of the kids will be racing or competing in events to aid their specific event at the conference meet at the end of the month," Meyer said. "This meet is a great way for the kids to see top notch competition before we get to the SoCon championships. It will be a chance for some of the kids to improve their current time seedings and get into the faster heats at the conference. "
