Mocs Post PRs Across the Board Friday at Auburn

AUBURN, Ala. --- If the Mocs were competing, they were setting personal bests Friday night on Day One of the War Eagle Invitational hosted by Auburn University.

Kimbra Dunning out jumped her previous best, placing 12th in the long jump with a distance of 5.55 meters.

Faith Brown set a PR earlier this season in the 3000 meter Steeplechase at the UAB Spring Invite. In just her third-ever attempt at the event, she improved once more with a time of 12:08.61, just edging out her previous best time.

The women's 5000 meter saw both Lesley Green and Emma Russum in the Invitational, a race for the top entered runners at the Invitational. Green finished 12th with a time of 12:25.62, beating out her PR by just more than a second while Russum's time of 17:32.30 was a 15-second improvement.

Aaron Isbell continues to show great strides in the long races. He placed sixth overall Friday in the men's 5000 meter Invitational with a time of 14:34.62, shaving more than 20 seconds off the time he recorded at the UAB Spring Invite.

The Mocs continue the War Eagle Invitational Saturday at Hutsell-Rosen Track. Follow all the action online at GoMocs.com. Links for live results are available on the cross country/track & field schedule page.
