PREVIEW: Women’s Golf Tackles Brickyard Collegiate

CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs get started with 36 holes Monday at the Brickyard Collegiate. It's the ladies final tune up for the Southern Conference Championships. The Brickyard is a two-day, 54-hole event at the aptly named Brickyard Golf Club in Macon, Ga.

The lineup continues to be juniors Dorota Zalewska and Esme Hamilton alongside freshmen Megan Docherty and Carolina Hortian. They continue to come together well as a unit.

Zalewska and Hamilton are chasing history. Both are ahead of Emily McLennan's '16 school record for scoring average in a season. McLennan turned in 73.34 in 2015-16. Zalewska is more than a half stroke better at 72.71, while Hamilton is ahead as well with a 73.21 average.

The 13-team, 72-player field takes the tee at 9 a.m., with a shotgun start. The Mocs begin on holes 14-17. Scoring and pairings, when available, are linked above.
