The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga celebrated its 259
th Commencement Ceremonies at McKenzie Arena this weekend. One of the largest classes of student-athletes on record earned their degrees at one of the five events on Friday and Saturday.Â
Among the 54 student-athletes to earn a diploma this semester, 17 graduated with honors and an additional 10 earned graduate degrees. Highlighted on this list is former Cross Country standout Mark Britt, who earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy.Â

Uwusiaba also earned special recognition. Â Pene is a Latin Honors Candidate in Psychology and a ThinkAchieve graduate, while Uwusiaba was elected to the Alpha Society as a Latin Honors Graduate in Civil Engineering.
Football had the highest number of graduates with 17, including Gabe Boring (Exercise Science) and Cody Olszweski (Finance) who both graduated with honors.Â
