Women’s Tennis Adds Familiar Name in Pippa Bosman to 2022-23 Roster

CHATTANOOGA --- The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team and head coach Chad Camper have added a familiar name to the 2022-23 roster with the International addition of Pippa Bosman of the Netherlands, the program announced on Wednesday morning.

Bosman is the sister of current UTC women's tennis student-athlete Coco Bosman. She will arrive in Chattanooga as a true freshman and will carry four years of immediate eligibility.

"Pippa has a great game for college tennis. She sets up her points well and is never out of the point," said head coach Camper. "Pippa is a great addition to the program and will make an impact on the team."

Bosman, who played Internationally over the past several years, carries a No. 88 national ranking (Netherlands) in singles play while boasting a No. 85 national ranking in doubles action. She helped anchor a doubles squad that captured the Open National Tournament title last April.

Last winter, Bosman competed in the Elite League Competition in Sweden and put together an impressive resume. She was the only competitor in the league who won all six singles matches over three different weekends of play.

Bosman is currently competing in the Dutch Competition First Class Mixed series during the month of May. Before arriving in the Scenic City, she will be competing in numerous National and International tournaments across Europe.

The Chattanooga women's tennis team will be announcing additional signings ahead of the 2022-23 season in the coming days. Stick to GoMocs.com for all updates.
