University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Athletics Assistant Director of Strategic Communications Anne Wehunt was honored by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association this week.  Wehunt took second place in the state-wide 'Event Writers' contest.

All member colleges and universities in the state of Tennessee are eligible for the award.  Each of the first, second and third-place winners will be recognized during the TSWA Hall of Fame dinner and banquet on Thursday, July 14, at Cumberland University.

This is the third honor for Wehunt who is entering her 22^nd year with the Mocs, serving as the primary contact for UTC's women's basketball, track & field, cross country and soccer programs.  She also took second place in 2018 and 2021.
