CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs have a new partner and host of the weekly "Chat with the Mocs" radio show hosted by "Voice of the Mocs" Jim Reynolds. Multimedia rights hold Mocs Sports Properties, a Learfield subsidiary, came to an agreement with Walk-On's, a national leader in the sports bar industry.
 
Walk-On's opened at 224 Broad Street in the spring of 2022. Based in Baton Rouge, Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux was founded in 2003 by Brandon Landry, a former walk-on basketball player at LSU. Leaning on the true spirit of a walk-on and building a winning culture, the brand is rapidly expanding across the United States. Its Louisiana-inspired menu features food and drinks made from scratch daily. The Walk-On's team serves up a gameday experience in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere that ensures every guest is a winner.

Chat with the Mocs begins on August 22. Its major guests are football coach Rusty Wright and basketball coaches Dan Earl and Shawn Poppie, although every sport is represented throughout the year. The plan for 2022-23 is more student-athletes involvement in the show. That will show in Week 1 with offensive lineman McClendon Curtis and defensive tackle Devonnsha Maxwell joining Reynolds.
 
Since COVID-19 interrupted on site broadcasts, CWTM has aired from McKenzie Arena. Now it gets back to a traditional format and feel.
 
"We're excited to have Walk-On's as not only our host site, but also as a very valued partner," Vice-Chancellor Mark Wharton said. "Our fans will enjoy the food and beverage options along with the atmosphere. It also gets us back in front of the casual sports fan in Chattanooga."
 
Chat with the Mocs is every Monday beginning August 22 at 7 p.m. It airs on the flagship station for the Mocs, WFLI 96.1 FM/1070 AM.
