CHATTANOOGA---It's that time of year. Fall Football Camp is fast approaching for the Chattanooga Mocs with check in on Thursday and the first drills coming on Friday, August 5. That means the news is coming fast and furious.

But they need the Chattanooga community to make it a great summer. The Mocs marketing and ticketing gurus hatched a month-long plan to meet expected growth. It starts today, August 2, and runs opening day, September 3.
 
That community has always been there for the Mocs. That's evidenced by last year's Mocs Club endeavor to reach 1500 members by the end of 2021. This one is just as challenging looking for 500 new or renewed season tickets sold.
 
"One of the most important parts of the student-athlete experience is the great support they receive from our fans and community," Vice-Chancellor Mark Wharton shared. "The ticket revenue we get from football, both basketball programs, wrestling and softball puts us in better position to use our resources. In this era in our lives, budgeting is more challenging than ever so this simple support mechanism goes a long way for all our student-athletes.
 
"It's the lifeblood of our programs."
 
If you already have season tickets, there are ways to help others enjoy an exciting season to come as well as benefit yourself along the way. Any current ticket holder refers a new season ticket purchase is entered into an opportunity for VIP gameday experience including sideline passes to the game of their choice with parking pass, pre-game hospitality, official jersey and more. All season ticket holders signed up by August 14 are invited to the Monday, August 15, closed to the public practice at Finley Stadium. There is also a special gift awaiting at that practice and for all purchasers between August 15-September 3. That includes our friends who have safely and securely purchased their season tickets over the previous months.
