Soccer Hosts Eastern Kentucky in Home Opener Sunday

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga women's soccer team will open play at home this Sunday against Eastern Kentucky. Both teams fell in their openers on Thursday and will be looking to put a tally in the win column.

A penalty kick was the difference in the season-opener for Chattanooga at UAB Thursday night. The Mocs defense kept the Blazers out of the net throughout until a foul was called in the box, setting up the PK for UAB. Freshman Zoey Mize led the Mocs with a pair of shots and senior keeper Abbey Saddler pulled in three saves.
