Women’s Tennis Ready to Compete in MTSU Fall Invitational

CHATTANOOGA --- The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team gets ready for its second weekend of competition during the 2022 fall portion of the schedule as they travel to Murfreesboro, Tenn., to participate in the MTSU Invitational held Friday through Sunday, Sept. 30-Oct. 2, at the Adams Tennis Complex.
Chattanooga will compete in a hidden dual format against teams from MTSU, North Alabama, Ball State, Lipscomb and Bellarmine. The strong field should provide quality competition to allow the Mocs to train ahead of the 2023 spring season.
"The women have made some adjustments since the last tournament and they are looking sharper for this weekend," said head coach Chad Camper.
"There will be a lot of good tennis and an opportunity for players to begin to see where they need to continue to improve. The fall season is about building players and finding doubles teams that work."
The UTC schedule for the weekend can be found below. A recap of the weekend's action will be available following the final results on Sunday.
