- Chattanooga fell to 11-8 overall and 3-3 inside SoCon play following a tight 75-74 loss at Samford… Samford improved to 12-7 overall and stayed perfect inside league action at 6-0.
- All-time record 1,397-1,123… 851-554 in Division I era (since 1977-78)… 461-280 in SoCon games all-time.
- Chattanooga held a 14-point lead at halftime 45-31… Samford out-scored the Mocs 44-29 in the second half… UTC held a lead as big as 19 (2nd 14:48).
