- Chattanooga dropped its second-straight game and fell to 11-9 overall and 3-4 in SoCon play after the 77-69 defeat to Furman… the Paladins improve to 14-6 overall and 5-2 inside league action… the loss snaps a three-game UTC win streak over Furman.
 
- All-time record 1,397-1,124… 851-555 in Division I era (since 1977-78)… 461-281 in SoCon games all-time… 474-141 all-time inside McKenzie Arena.
 
- The Paladins held the lead for the majority of the game… 24:19 opposed to UTC's 9:50 total… seven ties and six lead changes.
 
- Chattanooga suffered a 21-9 disadvantage in points off turnovers during the defeat… 15-9 disadvantage in total turnovers… the -12 point differential in the points off turnovers category is the most this season (11, vs. Belmont).

- Jamal Johnson entered double figures for the 12^th-straight game… finished with 10 points and five rebounds… connected on two of eight three-point attempts.

- Brody Robinson provided the offensive spark and knocked down back-to-back triples in the second half to give UTC a brief lead… finished with nine points and two rebounds… drew three foul calls on defense.
