Postgame Quotes
Â
Dan Earl, Head Coach
Opening statement after 73-64 win at ETSU.
"Sometimes the game comes down to making big plays late. Dalvin [White] hit a huge three with under two minutes left, off the dibble, it took big guts and it went down. It's about time something went well for us late game. I'm proud of the guys for keeping the fight. I think we are getting better, and I haven't been the most pleasant to be around. I'm really happy for them and I thought a lot of guys contributed."
Â
On late game situation.
"We've had some games that came down to free-throw shooting late and missed some big free throws. For Dalvin to step up and knock them down was huge. I thought he played really well down the stretch. Overall, great team effort. There's still a lot to learn from and get better."
Â
On playing more aggressive.
"At times, we play pretty fast. But, I thought we were more aggressive and didn't settle as much as we did previously. I think we're making the right steps. Sam [Alexis] came up with a huge rebound late and took care of the ball. Overall, really good game. We did a good job on Jordan King tonight and made it tough for him, he's a really good player."

Dalvin White, Gr., G
On hitting big shots late.
"It feels good to get a win on the road. We wanted to get a big win on the road and it just feels good. It felt great hitting that shot not just for me, but for the team."
Â
On being ready for the moment.
"It's staying in the gym and getting shots up. You always have to be ready for the moment. When that moment came, I took my time and hit it."
Â
On the game plan.
"We wanted to focus on the defensive end and trust our offensive attack. We just needed to make sure to hit shots and free throws when it came down to it."
