- Chattanooga fell to 9-7 overall and 1-2 in SoCon play after the 73-61 defeat at UNCG… UNCG improves to 9-7 and 3-0 in the SoCon… the Mocs are just 1-6 in the last seven games in Greensboro… lone win came last season.

- Chattanooga trailed 37-30 at halftime… the first deficit at the break since a 39-38 tally at Gardner-Webb on December 3… span of seven games… UTC was limited to a 29.4% (5-of-17) mark from deep in the half… 38.5% (10-of-26) from the floor in total.

- UNCG led the contest for 38:39… UTC held the lead for just 16 seconds… there was just one tie and two lead changes as the Spartans controlled much of the game.

- Chattanooga won the rebounding advantage 38-33… first time in the four-game road trip earning an edge on the boards… however UNCG won the points in the paint battle 36-26.

- The Mocs were forced into 15 turnovers while turning over its opponent just nine times… UNCG tuned the 15 turnovers into 15 points.

- UTC finished the game with just one block… lowest block total of the season… just the third time all season finishing with less blocks than its opponent… now 0-3 in games when out-blocked.

- After UTC pulled within one at 39-38 with 15:16 left in the second half, UNCG outscored the Mocs 18-6 over the next 5:08 to build a 57-44 lead… 6-0 and 7-0 runs were a part of the outburst… the stretch proved the difference.
