- Chattanooga improves to 10-7 overall and 2-2 in the SoCon following the 85-78 win over VMI… VMI falls to 5-12 overall and 0-4 in the SoCon… head coach Dan Earl's first matchup against his former team… coached last seven seasons at VMI.
- All-time record 1,396-1,122… 850-553 in Division I era (since 1977-78)… 460-279 in SoCon games all-time… 473-140 all-time inside McKenzie Arena.
