NEW ORLEANS—The Chattanooga Mocs finished 15th at the Tulane Classic presented by Chad Brownstein in the opening event of the spring. The ladies' final round 323 produced a 54-hole total of 948 at English Turn Golf & Country Club. The was one behind Charleston Southern in 14th and four ahead of South Dakota in 16th.

Dorota Zalewska led the day, while Kera Healey paced the quintet over the entire three days. Zalewska's 3-over 75 got her into the top 10 overall on another difficult scoring day. Megan Docherty was next with 81, while Carolina Hortian added 82. Healey and Nieves Martin matched with 85s.

Healey's week also produced a top 10 effort. She ended up alone in ninth with 226. That was two better than Zalewska tied in 10th at 228, just a solitary stroke from her fourth top 10 of the campaign in six outings. Docherty tallied 246, while Martin finished at 251. Hortian did not have a 54-hole due to being unavailable for the first round.

"It's a shame we didn't finish as strong as we had hoped," Coach Colette Murray shared. "Kera has a lot of positives to take away from this tournament, and we're hoping for a lot of growth as well. Dori was able to turn around a tough start around which we believe will be a valuable experience for her as a plyer not just in college but beyond.

"As a team, the overall performance was disappointing. Collectively, we are working through some developmental changes that although seem painful right now, will be worth it in the long run. It's important that we believe in our processes and our discipline enough to execute. If we commit to those things, it will get better."

Purdue entered the final 18 with a 16-shot cushion and needed nearly all of it. The Boilermakers' 897 ended up four shots better than runners-up Tulane and Incarnate Word. The Green Wave's Carla Bernat claimed medalist at 2-over 218.

The Mocs make a quick return to the tee this week heading to Eatonton, Ga., for the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational. The field takes on the Great Waters Course starting Friday, Feb. 17, and ending Sunday, Feb. 19.
