CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team barely had enough time to do a load of laundry and get right back on the road for the next event. The ladies tee off Friday at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational after completing the Tulane Classic Tuesday with two top 10s.
Kera Healey (9th) and Dorota Zalewska (T10) led the Mocs in New Orleans as the squad shifts to a familiar location with its fifth entry into this event hosted by Mercer on the Great Waters Course in Eatonton, Ga. Zalewska was top 10 there a year ago tying for seventh.
The duo above is joined again in the starting lineup by Megan Docherty, Nieves Martin and Carolina Hortian with Isabella Yu Lee looking to make an impression playing as an individual. This group takes on a 12-team field headlined by 37th-ranked Clemson. The Mocs open the event at 10 a.m., on the first hole playing with ETSU and Mercer. Hortian leads off followed by Martin, Docherty, Healey and Zalewska.
The 54-hole tourney starts Friday and ends Sunday. Live scoring and pairings, when available, are linked above.
