- Chattanooga fell to 15-15 overall and 7-10 inside league play after the 75-70 loss to Samford… Samford improved to 21-9 and 15-2 in conference action… the Mocs enter a three-way tie with Wofford and ETSU for fifth place with one game remaining.
 
- All-time record 1,401-1,131… 855-561 in Division I era (since 1977-78)… 465-287 in SoCon games all-time.
 
- 476-145 all-time inside McKenzie Arena… 251-87 in SoCon games inside McKenzie Arena.
 
- Chattanooga and Samford exchanged leads 20 times while seeing seven ties in the back-and-forth affair… UTC led for 17:46… Samford for 18:34… both team's largest lead was six… both team's largest scoring run was 7-0.

-  Jamal Johnson posted his third 20-plus scoring effort in the last five games after finishing with 21 points… went 6-of-15 from the field… 3-of-11 from 3PT… 6-of-7 from the line… added five boards.
 
- Dalvin White posted 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting… first double-digit effort since February 4 at Western Carolina… added a game-high three steals… ties season-high which was set at Ole Miss on November 15… finished a team-best +2 in 28 minutes of action.
 
- Jake Stephens was one of the seven seniors recognized… became just the second player in Division I basketball over the last 30-plus years to record 1,800 points, 800 rebounds, 300 assists and 200 blocks in a career… still missing time due to injury.
