Opening statement after 83-68 loss at Western Carolina.
"I think the guys are frustrated; I'm frustrated. I didn't think it was a lack of effort today, we just didn't play well today. We allowed them to shoot high percentages which is not good defensively, they made shots, and we did not execute offensively. It's not that simple, but you can look at the stat sheet and it'll show signs. We just didn't play well today. That guys are trying, they're practicing hard. We just haven't seen that pay off in games."
 
On the adjustments from the first meeting.
"We mixed things up defensively and they had to adjust to that. I thought we did a pretty good job at that, we were into it. We got off to a tough start not making shots, but we stayed engaged and gave good effort. It was a one-point game three minutes into the half, and then we went into a scoring drought and they started executing."

On playing from behind.
"It's tough playing from behind the entire game. No matter what, you have to keep going and we tried to do that. It just wasn't going our way today. We just have to stick to it and keep pushing."
 
On clawing way back in the game before losing momentum.
