MOCS vs. FURMAN
Furman leads the series with UTC 29-0-1.

LAST TIME THEY MET
In 2022, it came down to the wire for the Mocs. A win or tie would clinch a first-ever Southern Conference regular season title for UTC. However, Chattanooga had yet to get a win over the Paladins in 29 tries and the two teams went to overtime three times previously, twice in the Gavin McKinney era. After giving up a goal to Furman in the first half, the Mocs defense shutout down the Paladins the remainder of the match. It would be up to the offense. Zoey Mize lined up a corner kick that found Mackenzie Smith. Her header sent the ball into the net to tie the match in the 70th minute.

DYK? The Chattanooga coaches did not tell the team until after the match at Furman last year that a tie would secure a share of the title.
