MILWAUKEE---The Chattanooga Mocs are in the thick of things at the Marquette Intercollegiate. The squad is tied for fourth with Texas A&M, while senior Samuel Espinosa is just four shots out of the individual lead.
 
The Mocs shot 294 in round two. That tied for the third-lowest score of the second 18 with Cincinnati. It moved the group within seven shots of Purdue in the lead at 583. Cal is second with 586 followed closely by Augusta at 587. The Mocs and Aggies are next with 590.
 
Freshman Ward Harris and senior John Houk paced the day 2 effort. The pair shot 1-over 73s just ahead of Espinosa, Garrett Engle and Braedon Wear's 74s. Carson Johnson shot 77 playing as an individual.
 
Espinosa is tied for seventh at 1 over (145). That's four off the leading trio of Nels Surtani (Purdue), Luke Prall (Purdue) and Eric Lee (Cal) with 3-under 141s. He's joined in top 20 by two of his teammates.
 
Harris is tied for 12th at 3 over, while Wear is another stroke behind in a tie for 18th with 148 (+4). Houk is just two behind Wear with 150, while Johnson heads into the final round at 154. Engle is next with 156.
 
The Mocs tee off at 9 a.m., Eastern time, on Tuesday. Engle leads off No. 1 followed in 10-minute intervals by Houk, Wear, Harris and Espinosa. The Mocs are paired with the Aggies and Cincinnati. Johnson gets his start at 11 a.m., on No. 10.
