Overall thoughts on 81-74 victory at ETSU.
"ETSU kept coming at us and I thought we battled as well. There are some things we have to clean up, intellectually, with the game on the line. And also, certainly rebounding. We gave up too many rebounds, but with that said, I thought we competed throughout and responded when things were starting to go the wrong way. The guys played the right way and shared the ball. I was proud of the way they played offensively."
 
On the game staying within a couple possessions & everyone contributing.
"It wasn't comfortable for me [laughing]. We had a couple chances to break it open, but they kept fighting back. There were a few guys who made some big plays. I thought everyone contributed positively at many points. I thought Randy Brady played really well tonight. When you move the ball to the open man, and play under control, when things get tight, it allows you to execute down the stretch."
 
On the defense and its activeness.
"We do have to get better at rebounding. But we were able to pop some balls loose, we were in the gaps, and we were active with our hands, which I thought was really good. We were able to make it difficult for their shooters which was a result of how hard our guys worked tonight."

"Yeah, I felt like I had a hot hand in the first half. It was just one of those games where you felt like the ball was always going to go in. It felt good to have that after a few rough games over the past couple weeks. It felt good."
 
On what it feels like when everything is going in.
"It just feels great. You don't really think about it. You just go back to practice and how many shots you put up. You just don't think about it and you go play."
 
On everyone stepping up & gelling together.
"It's very important for our team to see that. It showed all the guys that everyone can step up any game and come through. It's always hard to play on the road, it was tough at Mercer and then you come here and play a rival, it's a confidence boost for sure."
