The Mocs and Keydets are 5-5-2 all-time in the series dating back to 2014 when VMI returned to the Southern Conference. The Mocs lead the regular season series 5-4-1 and the two are tied 3-3-1 at home and 2-2-1 in Lexington.

The Mocs are on a three-game win streak that includes three straight shutout SoCon victories. Chattanooga beat ETSU and The Citadel 2-0 and claimed its first-ever win over Furman 1-0 in Greenville. They average 12.2 shots per game and have 13 goals from eight different goal scorers.
Caroline Richvalsky leads the team with five goal and is matched in scoring with
Zoey Mize who has a SoCon-best seven assists for 11 points each. Both have a team-best two game-winning goals.
Caroline Ekern has played every minute in goal with 18 saves, a 1.20 goals against average and .719 save percentage. She has five wins and four shutouts.

The Keydets beat The Citadel 2-1 early in the league season and secured a draw against Wofford in their last outing. They have 15 goals on the year on 8.4 shots per game and are led in scoring by Riley Boucher with six goals. Barrett Callejo has four goals and Cadee Hegarty has a team-high four assists. Whitney Tracy has started all 15 games and has a .730 save percentage and 2.19 goals against average. She has five wins and three shutouts.

Zoey Mize bounced a shot into the far post to secure Chattanooga's first-ever win over Furman and extend its unbeaten streak against the Paladins to three games. Mize took the throw in and sent the ball toward the touch line. She made contact with her left foot and arced the shot over the Paladin keeper at the near post. It bounced at the line, hit the far post and went in for the lone score of the game. UTC allowed just one shot on goal for Furman, outshooting them 11-9.

Mocs Secure First-Ever Win Over Furman
The Mocs earned a 1-0 shutout against Furman on the road for the first-ever win over the Paladins in 32 tries. UTC is 1-29-2 against Furman dating back to the first season in 1996. Chattanooga is currently riding a three-game unbeaten streak against Furman with ties in the previous two meetings. Twice in the series, the Mocs have forced overtime, but fell each time. Mize scored an unassisted goal in the eighth minute and the Mocs defense controlled the majority of the match.

Zoey Mize has two goals and a SoCon-high seven assists to lead UTC with 11 points along with
