POSTGAME QUOTES
Dan Earl, Head Coach
Overall thoughts on the 85-78 win over TSU.
"You can see we're still very much a work in progress, but when it counted, I thought we played with more toughness than we have in some other games. Certainly, this guy to my left, Trey, had an absolutely great game."

On the team's current four game win streak.
"I'm proud that we've gotten a couple wins and we have not played to our ability or our potential. So if you can get wins without playing to your potential, there's got to be something good there, right?"

On his message to the team during halftime.
"We got on them and was wanting more competing and being more physical. I didn't think that was necessarily the problem today, so we talked more strategy and just being absent minded or correcting our mistakes like there was some uncharacteristic just silliness out there."

Turning the page to Wednesday against Bryant.
"We have to move the ball on offense, but we have to get better defensively and grab 50/50 balls and rebounding. So we'll have another challenge against Bryant, and you got to flip the page pretty quickly."

Trey Bonham, Sr.-G
When asked about his dominant performance.
"Yeah, the season kind of started off a little slow for me. So having a game where I got in that zone, felt good. Finally, I knew I've been putting in work, so I knew it was going to come eventually. But yeah, it just felt good to get back in that zone."

On the game plan against TSU tonight.
"We knew they try to get downhill, they're going to shoot the ball, and all five of them are crashing. That was really the number one key going into it. We knew we had to box out, and we had to keep the ball in front of us, and if we did that, we'll win the game."
