TEAM
- Today marked the 93rd meeting between Chattanooga and ETSU in WBB.
- UTC now leads the series 68-25.
- The Mocs are now 28-14 when playing in Johnson City.
- The last time the Buccaneers defeated the Mocs in Brooks Gymnasium: February 9, 2019.
- With the win, the Mocs now secure the 2-0 regular season sweep against the Bucs.
- UTC has won each of their last five meetings against ETSU, all of which have come under Coach Poppie.
- Coach Poppie is undefeated (5-0) versus ETSU in his coaching career.
- Poppie becomes just the second coach in program history to win his first five matchups against ETSU. The other was Jim Foster, who won his first eight against the Bucs.
- Only Grace Keith (3-0) has ended her career undefeated when coaching against East Tennessee State. Keith won all three meetings with ETSU as UTC's head coach.
- Chattanooga's win streak has now reached 11 straight victories.
- This matches the longest win streak for the Mocs since stringing together 11 straight wins during the 2015-16 season.
- 13th straight win over a SoCon opponent (10 regular season wins). Longest since 16 from Jan. 30-Jan. 26, 2017.
- The Mocs have now hit 22 wins on the season. This is the 16th time in program history the Mocs have had 22+ wins in a season.
- 22 wins in first 25 games are most since same total in the 29-4 2015 SoCon Championship campaign.
- Coach Poppie has now led the Mocs to his second consecutive 20-win season, with UTC sitting at a 22-3 record overall this season.
- Poppie is now just the second coach in program history to have 20-win seasons in each of his first two seasons with the team.
- The other coach was Jim Foster, who had 29-win seasons in 2013-14 and 2014-15.
- The team remains undefeated in the 2024 calendar year.
- The Mocs also remain undefeated in SoCon play at 10-0.
- The last time Chattanooga started 10-0 in conference action: 2014-15 season (the Mocs went on to finish a perfect 14-0 in SoCon play that year).
- UTC has started 10-0 in SoCon action a total of eight times in program history including this season.
- The team has finished undefeated in the SoCon regular season a total of fives times: 2014-15, 2013-14, 2007-08, 2005-06 and 2003-04.
- Chattanooga moves to a perfect 9-0 record in true road games this season.
- The last time UTC started 9-0 in road games in a season: 1999-2000 season (went on to finish 12-0 on the road that year).
- The last time UTC won nine straight true road games in a season: 2014-15 season (10 straight road wins).
- Starters: Porter, Guinn, Olafsdottir, Thompson and Murphy. This starting five now is now 20-2 on the year.
- UTC has now led 22 out of 25 games this season at the half.

Sigrun Olafsdottir, Jr., G/F
- Made her 109th career start for the Mocs.
- Appeared in her 112th career game at UTC.
- Scored six points for the Mocs, all coming from three-point range.
- Has made multiple three-pointers in eight games this season.
- Tied for the team-high in assists (1).

Addie Grace Porter, Jr., G
- Made her 69th career start for the Mocs.
- Appeared in her 88th career game at UTC.
- Finished with nine points and seven boards in the win.
- Saw six points come from the free throw line, marking a new season-high.
- Led the team with three steals as well.
- Has recorded multiple steals in nine out of 25 games this season.
