SANTA CRUZ, Calif.---The Chattanooga Mocs men's golf team remains tied with host San Jose State at the 77th Western Intercollegiate. Today's 364 gives the Mocs a 2-day total of 722, 22 over for the event.
 
It was the Garrett Engle show. The junior from Harrisburg, Pa., fired a season-low 66 to pace the Mocs effort. It moved him 28 spots into a tie for third with 2-under 138. That's just two off the pace set by Arizona's Filip Jakubcik (136).
 
John Houk was next on the Mocs scorecard with 73. Dalton Chuba had 74, while Paul Conroy turned in 75. Braedon Wear had the final counter of 76, as Samuel Espinosa registered the drop with 77.
 
Engle's 138 is four better than Chuba with 2-over 142. Wear is next at 146 as two strokes separate the final three in Conroy (149), Houk (150) and Espinosa (151).
 

 
Stanford holds the team lead with 709. Arizona is second at 711 followed by Washington with 712. San Diego State (713), Oregon (715) and BYU (715) round out the top five.
 
Wednesday's final round broadcasts on Golf Channel and Peacock. The broadcast schedule is 7-10 p.m. (ET). The Mocs are paired with San Jose State, Pepperdine and UNLV. Scoring and pairings are linked above.
