CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga women's soccer team returns to action after a 10-day break in the schedule. UTC hosted Tennessee Tech on September 5 in a match that ended in a 1-1 draw. The Mocs will hit the road for a contest at Belmont Sunday afternoon in Nashville to close out the non-conference slate.

ABOUT CHATTANOOGA (1-4-2)
The Mocs non-conference schedule is one of its toughest in program history with a pair of SEC foes and a Top 25 opponent. Chattanooga traveled to take on Tennessee and hosted Alabama and #15 Xavier. The lone win the season was a 1-0 victory at Jacksonville State while UTC opened the season with a 2-2 draw at Georgia State and tied Tennessee Tech 1-1 in their last outing.

Caroline Richvalsky leads the team with three goals and
Zoey Mize has a team-best three assists and is tied for third in the SoCon.
Caroline Ekern has 27 saves on the year and a 1.71 goals against average. She has one shutout on the year.

ABOUT BELMONT (3-5-0)
The Bruins started the season with a loss to Lindenwood (1-3), but bounced back to beat MTSU 2-1 on the road. A four-game losing skid was snapped with a 3-1 win over Tennessee Tech followed by back-to-back wins over the Golden Eagles and North Alabama (1-0).

Ava Labocki has a team-best three goals and Reagan Ross has two. Kennedy Bernsen leads the Bruins with two assists. Labocki, Kaitlyn Elliott and Kate Virtel each have a game winning goals. Keeper Sydney Jones started seven games and has a 1.69 goals against average along with 33 saves. Amanda Waggoner made one start and has two appearances with four saves and one win.

MOCS vs. BRUINS
The Mocs came away with a 3-1 win over the Bruins, the first win in the series for Chattanooga.
Betha Pucek scored the initial goal for UTC and
Caroline Richvalsky connected on the eventual game winner early in the second half.
Mary Beth Skelton scored an insurance goal late in the game for the Mocs 3-1 win. Belmont's goal came on a penalty kick in the second half. The win extended the Mocs win streak to six games, the longest in program history.

The Mocs battled it out with Tennessee Tech to a 1-1 draw on Thursday, September 5 at Finley Stadium. The Golden Eagles scored early, but the Mocs defense shut them down the remainder of the game and their offense had multiple opportunities to score.
Caroline Richvalsky scored her third goal of the season midway through the first half to tie the match. UTC outshot TTU 19-11 with an 8-5 shots on goal advantage.
Caroline Ekern had four saves and the Mocs were 5-0 against Tennessee Tech on corner kicks
