POSTGAME QUOTES
Dan Earl, Head Coach
Opening thoughts after 75-71 win at Furman.
"They are always hard fought in Southern Conference games and unfortunately for us, we came out of the gate poorly and like we were walking in mud again. I don't know why that is, because previously we came out unbelievably well, you know, so we have to find that consistency. I think there's something good there because when we got down, we figured out how to compete. We brought the kind of defense that got us back in the game. We were knocking balls loose, getting deflections, grabbing 50-50 balls. We didn't execute offensively very well, but there's something good there. We can't keep turning it on and off if we want to inch towards the top of the conference or a championship."

Honor Huff, Jr.-G
On climbing out of another early hole.
"On the positive note, it shows our will and fight and perseverance as a team and you know, our will to just fight. Honestly, when we're down, we really don't see it as a negative. We kind of see it as, 'all right, now it's time to play', which is kind of weird. We should have that strong mindset from the jump, but it's like when we go down, we know we've been here before, so let's just play. And obviously it has shown up."
