POSTGAME QUOTES
Dan Earl, Head Coach
Overall thoughts after tough 71-63 win at ETSU.
"I thought he [Bonham] was very good in the second half, took the game on, took care of the ball, got downhill a lot and made good decisions. He's not afraid. He got into the teeth of defense down low and made some passes, but was able to finish around the basket. We're finding different ways to win and I thought we did a good job of getting to the free-throw line today."

On first half effort closing strong.
"We got off to a slowish start again today, that wasn't the plan, but they had one possession with like five offensive rebounds that kind of tilted some things in that regard. We subbed in guys immediately including Parker Robison, who just plays hard and is tough. We wanted to get a spark into the guys. We didn't panic in the first half and stuck with it. It was great going into the half up one."

On rebounding effort.
"I thought without that one possession, we did an admiral job on the boards. They had 15 more shot attempts than us so we had to be very efficient and we were around the rim. I thought we played with some poise against the press and did a fairly good job against the pressure they gave us."

Trey Bonham, G-Sr.
On rivalry game against ETSU.
"We knew it was going to be scrappy coming in to this game, we even got into some fun back-and-forths before the game even started. We knew it was going to be a tough and physical game, and I thought we matched that energy well."

On taking over in the second half.
"It was going to be a tough game, we knew that, and I feel like I've been built for these types of moments. I wanted the ball in my hand as much as possible to make plays and make plays for my teammates to come away with a win."

On weathering the first half.
"We felt like we played horrible 90% of that first half, like horrible. Then we get to the locker room and didn't even realize we were up. We just came together as a team and played like we know how and things started to look a lot better."
