All Aboard: The Drive for UTC Women’s Athletics Launches Its Second Year of Fundraising

Campaign looks to raise the bar from its inaugural 2024 campaign, which ended up generating over $227,000 in donations for UTC women’s athletics.

CHATTANOOGA --- Following a successful first year of existence in 2024, Chattanooga Athletics and Mocs Club are excited to announce that the All Aboard: The Drive for UTC Women's Athletics has once again returned for 2025.

Set to run from January 27 to February 12, the second installment of the annual initiative aims to continue the growth and support surrounding Chattanooga women's athletics.

"This is an important initiative," Vice Chancellor for Athletics Mark Wharton said. "It's vital that we grow our women's programs at a time when interest and participation is at an all-time high. Our coaches and student-athletes are fantastic representatives of our department. It is an excellent investment in our future."

The All Aboard campaign was created last year to help raise awareness and financial support whilst promoting excellence across all UTC women's athletic programs. The inaugural drive not only raised over $127,000, surpassing the Mocs Club's initial fundraising goal, but it unlocked a matching gift of an additional $100,000 from an anonymous donor putting the grand total funding raised in Year One at $227,000.

This year, the bar has been raised as we enter the second iteration of the campaign with a goal of raising $120,000, which will not only help improve UTC's facilities with a primary focus on the Chattanooga volleyball locker rooms but continue to foster an environment where female student-athletes have the resources and empowerment to succeed at the highest level of collegiate athletics.

Each contribution, regardless of its size, represents an investment in bolstering female student-athletes through scholarships, team building, upgrades to facilities, funding for international tours, career development and transformative experiences that enable them to compete at the best of their abilities. By contributing to All Aboard, you're not just donating to a cause—you're helping to build a lasting legacy of excellence for UTC women's athletics and the next generation of leaders and champions.
