Women’s Tennis Travels to Spartanburg for Big Southern Shootout

The Chattanooga Mocs women’s tennis heads to the annual Big South/SoCon Shootout.

CHATTANOOGA (October 2, 2025) – The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team continues its fall schedule with the Big Southern Shootout hosted by Wofford in Spartanburg, S.C., at the Reeves Tennis Center this weekend from Friday through Sunday.
 
Chattanooga has made the Big Southern Shootout an annual stop on its fall campaign over recent years. The event consists of Southern Conference and Big South programs and features a mixed format between singles and doubles play.
 
In addition to Chattanooga, this year's field consists of Wofford, Gardner-Webb, Longwood, Presbyterian and Middle Tennessee (an acting SoCon member for the event this weekend). The Mocs will compete in nearly 30 matches over the weekend beginning on Friday.

Friday, October 3
10 a.m. (ET) – Chattanooga vs. Longwood (singles)
12:30 p.m. (ET) – Chattanooga vs. Gardner-Webb (doubles)
 
Saturday, October 4
9 a.m. (ET) – Chattanooga vs. PC (doubles)
1:30 p.m. (ET) – Chattanooga vs. Gardner-Webb (singles)
 
Sunday, October 5
8 a.m. (ET) – Chattanooga vs. Longwood (doubles)
9:30 a.m. (ET) – Chattanooga vs. PC (singles)
 
No live stats or streaming will occur this weekend in Spartanburg. Full match results and recap will be available on Monday at GoMocs.com.
