The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team matched its best finish in the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate tying for third Tuesday afternoon. The Mocs shot a final round 289 for an 858 total which was level with Penn State and Western Kentucky. The trio finished behind Tennessee and runner-up Oregon State to round out the top 5.
 
Breakdown

• The Mocs posted a steady round that included seven birdies, 53 pars and 12 bogeys on the counting cards.
• All five played solid with zero scores higher than bogey for the second straight day. There were just three over the entire 54 holes.
• Giulia Foresta led the way again today with even-par 71. She had a birdie, bogey and 16 pars.
• Olivia Wood and Kera Healey matched each other with 72s. Healey had three of the squad's seven birdies.
• Violeta Fernandez-Tagle and Chloe Stevenazzi tied with 74s.
• Healey's 24-hole, bogey-free run ended on the par 3 second today. She played 4 under over her final 41 holes.
• 858 is the lowest total for the Mocs in 15 years playing in the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate. Beat 2021 (also a T3 finish) by eight strokes.
• All three rounds ranked in the top 10 scores posted at Cherokee CC in the many visits there.
• Beat fellow SoCon members Mercer by 14 and ETSU by 41.
