Cavarius Liddie earned Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week for his Sunday work per the league office announcement Wednesday afternoon. It's the first such honor for the Gainesville, Fla., native.

The Breakdown
- Liddie placed fifth at the Black Knight Invite. He went 3-1 winning three in a row after an early loss to 2-time world champion P.J. Duke from Penn State.
- Signature win propelled him into the fifth-place match. It came 55 seconds in as Liddie locked down 32nd-ranked Joe Antonio from Army with a pin.
- All three of his wins included bonus points with a tech fall and major decision sandwiching his ranked triumph, the first of his career.
- Led a group of seven Mocs winning podium places in the nine weight classes represented by the squad.
- First Moc to capture Wrestler of the Week in 2025-26.

Next Up
The Mocs travel to Hannibal, Mo., on Dec. 12 for two neutral site bouts. It starts with Utah Valley at 5:30 p.m., and ends with Iowa at 7:30 p.m. The Hawkeyes are ranked third nationally, while the Wolverines are receiving votes.
