Coach Dan Earl
Opening Statement:
"It was good to get under the lights and get our guys playing. I thought we attacked the game the right way. As you could see, early on. We were settling for threes. I don't know if settling's the right word. They were mostly open. We just weren't making many. You have a tendency to get tight or play out of character, but I thought our guys played the right way and attacked and were unselfish throughout the night. Still a ton of good things to work on going forward. But it was good to get under the lights, in front of the referees, in front of the crowd and all that good stuff. Proud of the team. and it was nice to get so many guys in the game as well."

On Arena Upgrades & Atmosphere:
"I'm just super appreciative of everybody involved. I say that everybody meaning currently in Mark Wharton, our A.D, the athletic administration, the fans coming out supporting us with season tickets being up. We made some adjustments to the arena floor seating, have a couple boxes going in, so, it seems like people are excited, and they've treated us completely awesome my whole time here, in particular for our NIT run, which was great., We have a proud history and tradition as well, right? So, I can go back and name all the coaching, you know like Mack McCarthy in the sweet 16 run and you know all the successes of whoever it might be Lamont and Will Wade and on and on."

On getting a game under your belts:
"I think it was very important in a lot of different ways. Again, just to get some of the nerves out under the lights and all that good stuff, and then try to have guys in the game with different lineups, with rotations to see how they respond with the officiating, playing in a real game and things that we have to work on."

Jikari Johnson, Sr.-G
On the atmosphere in his first game in the Roundhouse:
"It's definitely a blessing. I had never played Division I basketball before. Both of my brothers got that luxury, so just seeing it come to fruition and just being able to play in an atmosphere like that is amazing to me."

On the build up to the game for teh team:
"It's been a lot of anticipation. We've been working with each other since early June, and it's been a long time coming to play in this arena. It was a lot of fun, especially like coach said everybody got to get in, and it was just a fun time."
