Opening thoughts after 73-66 win at AAMU.
"I thought our guys were extremely scrappy and played with that fire that we saw a little bit against Auburn and the first half at Bellarmine. Unfortunately the wheels kind of came off at Bellarmine in the second half, but I thought we did a great job of not letting anything effect our defense in a negative way today. While we weren't perfect by any means tonight, I thought the constant scrapping and fighting was a great thing to see."

On the attention to detail.
"I think it's just a continued preach to the guys that every little thing is the difference in the outcomes of these games. We want to avoid that slopiness on both sides of the ball. And sometimes that's kind of stuck in player's minds, but the little things can amount to just two points that is the difference in winning and losing. that's a huge part of. We have to continue to clean some things up, especially when things are clicking especially well throughout the duration of a game."

"I think just sticking together. That was the whole message heading into this. From the second we get here and get on the court, we have to be together and play locked in towards a common goal. I think the coaches really hit the nail on the head on that message. It's really great to come in and execute that message and leave here with a win before SoCon starts."
