POSTGAME QUOTES
Dan Earl, Head Coach
Overall thoughts after tonight's 91-86 win over Western Carolina.
"I'm proud of the guys for figuring out how to win again. This was not our best basketball game again, but a ton of credit to Western Carolina. I have a ton of respect for coach [Tim] Craft, he does a tremendous job and they're playing with tremendous confidence. It was good that we figured out a way to win, it just wasn't our day especially defensively, but I think our team is mature enough to know that we need that to improve."
Â
On the McKenzie Arena crowd.
"The crowd helped us tremendously. They were into it and we're so appreciative of everyone coming out and getting on board. The Roundhouse was certainly rocking tonight, and we just have to make good decisions down the stretch. The guys played hard and made enough plays down the stretch."
Â
Honor Huff, Jr.-G
On tightening things up down the stretch.
"Coach commands the huddle and we talk with one another and get people in the right places to get each other going. Down the stretch, we really just came together and tried to find a way to win. I think we did that well tonight and I think that comes from the veterans and the veteran minds on this team. We have so many leaders on this team. We do a great job as a group to try and just find ways to win."
