POSTGAME QUOTES
Dan Earl, Head Coach
Overall thoughts after 85-72 win over Furman.
"I thought, you know, we did a good job taking care of the ball. We had 15 assists to just five turnovers, which is really good. Other than some rebounds late, and some decision making down the stretch, I thought everybody positively impacted the game. And how about
Parker Robison, how cool is that? I mean he went in and really impacted the game and made three late, He just did a really good job and that's such an exciting thing."
Â
Garrison Keeslar, Sr.-G
On offensive output tonight.
"I think a lot of team's game plans are trying to make things really tough on Honor, Trey and Bash, all those guys. They do a great job of it, but coach instills a lot of confidence in me and all the guys, they tell us if that we feel good, then let it go. Just having that confidence from the staff and the team, it only helps growing your own confidence when you get it from other people."
Â
On having a high basketball IQ.
"I have two older brothers, and they played basketball, so I've always been around the game. I was always going to high school practices when I was in middle school to watch them and learn from them. I've been blessed with such great coaches, too. Great high school coach, great coach at my Division II level, and obviously great coaches here. They've taught me a lot about the game and I think that's where it comes from."
