CHATTANOOGA (March 20, 2025) – The Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis team will be back in action for its first full weekend of Southern Conference action by traveling to face Samford on Friday before returning home to host Mercer on Sunday for the first of four league matchups.
The match at Samford on Friday is slated for a 2 p.m. start and will be held at the Samford Tennis Center in Birmingham, Ala. Sunday's action at home will kick off at 12 p.m. at the UTC Tennis Center on campus in Chattanooga, Tenn. Links to live video/results are available in the match details below.

Scouting Chattanooga
Chattanooga earned two clean 7-0 sweeps on the road last weekend, with one being over NAIA member Midland and another when they opened SoCon play against The Citadel in their most recent match on March 15. The Mocs have won four of their last five, with the only loss being to North Alabama on March 9, and have played to a 10-7 overall record.
Scouting Samford
Samford comes into the weekend on a four-match win streak which includes SoCon victories over The Citadel, Wofford, and Furman to post a 3-0 record in league play. The Bulldogs most recently saw a 5-2 win over College of Charleston on March 13, improving their overall record to 13-4. The Mocs fell 4-3 in their last meeting on March 22, 2024.
Scouting Mercer
Mercer will open its SoCon slate at Chattanooga this weekend and is coming into Sunday after breaking a two-match skid (that saw them lose to Georgia Southern and Belmont) with a 4-0 win over James Madison on Monday (March 17). The Bears are 5-6 overall this season and have a 0-4 record on the road. Chattanooga posted a 4-1 victory in their last meeting on April 18, 2024.
