"I have the utmost respect for UNCG, they had a great season and have built a great program. I felt like our team fought like champions and were deserving to win this game. My players work every single day and you want that for them as their coach. I'm proud of this team and these players for the tournament that they had."
 
On the girl's efforts.
"They proved that they're good enough. There's a ton of girls that have been told they aren't good enough their entire career. I hope every single one of these girls understands that they are champions in my eyes."

"We went through a lot together and we really stuck together. We just trusted each other as teammates. This team was amazing and I'm so proud of them even though we didn't get it done today. It was a tough game and we fought and had great resiliency this entire season.
