CHATTANOOGA vs. XAVIER
This is the second meeting between the two programs. Xavier, ranked #15 in 2024, edged the Mocs 2-1 at Finley Stadium.

Brenna Swiger connected on a goal late in the game to put the Mocs on the board in a 2-1 loss to 15th-ranked Xavier (4-0) at Finley Stadium.
Nicole Solete picked up a pass off a corner kick and found Swiger in the top right corner of the box. Swiger, with a defender marking her, turned and fired a left-footed shot into the upper right side, cutting the Musketeers lead in half with less than six minutes to play. The goal was the first for Swiger. UTC and Xavier each had eight shots with the Mocs holding a slight 5-4 edge on shots on goal.
Sophia Mize, with a chance of her own to score, led the way for the Mocs with two shots.
Caroline Ekern had two saves in 90 minutes in the net.

CHATTANOOGA (5-1-1)
• The Mocs are riding a five-game win streak, one behind the program record set in 2003 of five wins and one tie. The Mocs are ranked 37
th in the NCAA for won-lost-tie percentage.

Caroline Ekern is two wins behind Stacey Matthiessen ('07) for the program record with 28. She owns the program record for shutouts with 18. She is a two-time SoCon Defensive Player of the Week this season.

Paige Thomas leads Chattanooga with 11 points and has a SoCon-leading five goals. She scored two goals in the Mocs win over Morehead State and was named the SoCon Offensive Player of the Week.

Caroline Richvalsky scored two goals last week and is second on the team with four and has a team-best two assists for 10 points on the year.

XAVIER (3-2-1)
• The Musketeers began the season with a pair of losses but bounced back with three wins and a tie, entering the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 last week. They fell out this week, but are still receiving votes.
• Notable win: Xavier beat #17 Michigan State 5-2 at home for its third straight win.
•Elin Hansson leads the team with six goals and 12 points. She has taken 12 shots and has one game winning goal.
• Samantha Erbach is second on the team in scoring with 10 points. She has three goals and a team-best four assists.
• Maria Galley has started all six games in goal, logging 495:00 minutes. She has 17 saves (.654 saves percentage), allowed nine goals and has a 1.64 goals-against average. She is 3-2-1 with one shutout. Taylor Thomas saw action in one half of play with two saves.
