Notes
- Play begins at 7:40 a.m., both days. Admission is FREE. Mocs are paired with Vanderbilt and Oklahoma.
- 5th time hosting an event at the Honors Course with the 1996 and 2010 NCAA Championships mixed in with the 2006 Scenic City Invitational and 2020 Scenic City Collegiate.
- There is one change in the lineup. Sophomore Ward Harris is making his first start since the 2023-24 season when he earned SoCon All-Freshman accolade. He missed last year with an injury.
- Evan Rogers is looking to become just the second freshman in school history to post top 5s in the first two tournaments of their debut season. The other? PGA Tour winner Stephan Jaeger '12 in 2008 at the Scenic City Invitational (5th) and Carpet Capital Collegiate (T4).
- Camden Braidech is a 2-time collegiate winner (2024 Qubein Cup/2025 Donald Ross Coll.). Another win would make him the fourth Moc with a trio of trophies: Jaeger (4), Bryce Ledford '07 (3) & Jonathan Hodge '09 (3).
- Since Coach Blaine Woodruff's arrival in the summer of 2022, Chattanooga boasts nine wins and seven medalists with seven different Mocs claiming a win.
- Non-Chattanooga note…College of Charleston Coach Mitch Krywulycz and his then-Augusta teammates captured the 2010 NCAA Championship at the Honors Course in 2010.
- A familiar face is back in the Scenic City. Pepperdine assistant coach Nick Robinson was Woodruff's assistant at Chattanooga for his first two seasons (2023-24).
Final Thought
"This event helps us reciprocate with other school's events which really helps our schedule. (Marquette HC) Steve Bailey and (CofC HC) Mitch Krywulycz have always been generous to us inviting us to their events and didn't expect anything in return, so I'm really happy to host them this week." –
Coach Blaine Woodruff
