Women’s Tennis Opens 2025 Fall Season at Austin Peay

The Chattanooga Mocs women’s tennis team opens its fall portion of the schedule this weekend in Clarksville.

CHATTANOOGA (September 18, 2025) – The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team opens the 2025 fall season this weekend with an in-state event at the Austin Peay Fall Invite held in Clarksville, Tenn., at the Governors Tennis Courts.
 
The event is the first of four weekend invitationals this fall season with the SoCon/Big South Shootout (Oct. 3-5), UTC Steve Baras (Oct. 24-26) and UTC Fall Invite (Nov. 7-9) also on tap. The ITA Ohio Valley Regionals will be held October 16-21 in Knoxville.

"We have a young, exciting team this season and have a lot of work to do to improve," said head coach Chad Camper ahead of the weekend.
 
"We have had some great practices and improved a lot. We're looking forward to putting it all together this weekend."
 
Chattanooga and coach Camper landed one of the top mid-major signing classes for 2025, coming in at No. 16 in the rankings set by Tennis Recruiting Network. It matched the highest signing class ranking in program history, last earning a No. 16 designation back in 2015.
