NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 20, 2025) – The Chattanooga Mocs volleyball team ended the weekend with a pair of victories including a 3-1 (25-20, 25-17, 21-25, 25-22) win over Idaho and a clean 3-0 (25-13, 25-19, 25-14) sweep over Tennessee State on the final day of the Tiger Invitational in Nashville, Tenn.

Series: Chattanooga leads the all-time series 2-0 over Idaho and 10-3 over Tennessee State.
Notables
- Chattanooga has now won four of its last five matches following Saturday's two-match sweep.
- The Mocs finish the non-conference tournament slate with an even 6-6 record… SoCon opener up next.
- Chattanooga finished the non-conference slate with a 5-1 record in neutral site matches… 0-3 at home… 1-2 on the road.
- The 3-0 sweep over Tennessee State marked the third winning sweep of the season for UTC.
Chattanooga 3, Idaho 1
Set 1 – UTC 25, UI 20 (UTC 1-0)
- Chattanooga and Idaho exchanged two lead changes while tying four times in the set.
- Jordin Glass recorded five kills in the set; UTC finished with 4.0 total blocks.
Set 2 – UTC 25, UI 17 (UTC 2-0)
- The second set saw six different ties before Chattanooga broke things open during the middle stages.
- The Mocs recorded 21 kills at a .381 clip during the set with four different players notching four or more.
Set 3 – UI 25, UTC 21 (UTC 2-1)
- After the two teams tied 6-6, Idaho went on a lengthy run and never relinquished its lead for the remainder of the set.
- Idaho recorded 19 kills at a .372 hitting percentage while holding UTC to a .213 clip and 15 kills.
Set 4 – UTC 25, UI 22 (UTC wins 3-1)
- After Idaho led 5-1 in the first six points, Chattanooga grabbed a 9-7 lead and never allowed Idaho to pull within one.
- Chattanooga scored 21 of its 25 points off kills at a blistering .314 hitting percentage. Gracie Rose accounted for six in the frame while Sydney Jackwin added five.
Chattanooga 3, Tennessee State 0
Set 1 – UTC 25, TSU 13 (UTC 1-0)
- Chattanooga put together a 13-4 scoring run after an initial 5-5 tie to help build a sizable 18-9 lead late in the first set.
- The Mocs held TSU to a lowly .031 attacking percentage, forcing nine errors and recording seven team blocks in the process.
Set 2 – UTC 25, TSU 19 (UTC 2-0)
- Chattanooga commanded much of the set and built an eight-point lead, 14-6, to force an early TSU timeout.
- The Mocs held TSU to a .100 hitting percentage in the set; UTC recorded 11 kills and dished out three aces.
Set 3 – UTC 25, TSU 14 (UTC wins 3-0)
- The third set was much of the same for Chattanooga as a quick 15-5 lead forced TSU into a timeout with the Mocs in full command.
- UTC held TSU to a .050 attacking clip while forcing six errors and allowing just eight kills; UTC recorded 20 digs in the set with five different players contributing two or more.
