First Look
The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team finished 11th at the Mason Rudolph Championships in Franklin, Tenn. The Mocs shot a final round 295 to move up a spot on the final leaderboard. The 891 total was just two strokes out of the top 10 on Vanderbilt Legend Club's South Course. Western Kentucky finished 10th at 889 as the Mocs ended two clear of ULM in 12th (893).
 
Breakdown

• Chattanooga bounced back from a tough scoring Saturday to tally seven birdies on the opening nine holes (started on No. 10). The ladies made the turn at 4 over.
• 14 over for the week on holes 10-18.
• The birdies were scarce coming in with two – one each from Kera Healey and Olivia Wood. It was looking like a cleaner finish before playing the long par 3 ninth at 3 over to drift out of the top 10.
• Healey and Wood paced the squad with level-par 71s. Both also led with four birdies apiece.
• Only one hole saw the dup both record a red number together, the par 5 17th.
• Giulia Foresta (76) and Violeta Fernandez-Tagle (77) completed the counting cards.
• Wood's 219 is a low collegiate total for the freshman as was 6 over for vs par.
• 11 birdies for the event for Wood.
• Wood moved 41 spots up the leaderboard over the final two rounds.
• Score by side - Holes 1-9: +25 | 10-18: +14
• Birdies by round (counting cards) - 1st: 11 | 2nd: 5 | 3rd: 9 | Total: 25.

The Mocs are off until Oct. 5-7. They take on another good field at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate. The 3-day, 54-hole tourney is played at Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn.
